An American figured walnut chest with a rectangular top above a conforming case fitted with four graduating thumb nail molded drawers above a molded base over ogee bracket feet with their original pads, brasses are not original but are in same bored holes. The applied molding around top, the ogee bracket feet and secondary woods suggest a Philadelphia origin.
